Hors D'oeuvres for Employment
Youth living on the streets of Seattle are the most vulnerable segment of the homeless population and sadly this number is growing. Without the confidence, skills, and opportunities for employment, youth become part of our city’s growing chronically homeless population. Street Bean is a low-barrier social enterprise that offers the opportunity to build skills that can lead to stability and exiting homelessness.
You are invited to Street Bean's first ever Hors D'oeuvres for Employment, an evening of food, drinks, and fundraising. We are excited to share our next major step in the growth and development of Street Bean as well as the impact we have on the lives of youth in our city.
The Street Bean job training apprenticeships build confidence and offer support. Together with New Horizons, we partner with youth as they make the journey to opportunity, stability, and sustainability.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 dollars to continue to build upon our training program that helps the young people we work with find sustainability through employment training.
