67 Women-owned farms, known as the Mujeres de Risaralda group, are recognized by Cooperativa de Risaralda for their exceptional-quality coffee, which is segmented into this special lot. This recognition represents an important shift in the roles women are playing in the region's coffee community, which like so many parts of the coffee-producing world has been male-dominated for many years.
